Test Yourself At A Swimming Pentathlon

A Pentathlon is an individual competition meet. Every participant will swim one race of each stroke (8 and under-25s, 9/10 and 11/12 50s, 13/14 an 15 and Over 100s), fly, back, breast and free. Then all those times are added up accumulatively and the swimmers are seeded by time to swim an Individual Medley (8 and under and 9/10- 100 IM, all older swimmers 200 IM).

Awards are give to the overall fastest times in each age group for each gender.
Trophies for 1-3rd
Medals for 4-6 and
Ribbons for 6-9th

Even if a swimmer choses not to participate in each of the 5 events, or decides to give it a try and gets a DQ= the swimmer will just get a 5 minute penalty time for that event.

Below is the entry form. This needs to filled out for each swimmer and the $10 fee goes to the Clinton County Swim Association (CSSA). These forms can be turned into Rebekah Cygan (ask the Lock Haven YMCA front desk to put it in the Swimming Mail box- or they can be mailed to
