Summer Swim Camps - Pitt (Climbing the Stairs)

Several Pennsylvania swimmers from Jersey Shore, Lock Haven, and Williamsport are taking the week to fine tune their swimming techniques by going to swim camps at Pitt, Penn State, and California (PA). Periodic updates of their experience will be posted throughout the week.

Emma - We did a really cool drill where we would swim down one lane do a turn and swim back down a completely different lane.  We did this with 75s where we did a combination of breaststroke and butterfly drills.  Not sure what people call it but I call it a snake drill but it was alot of fun.

Dryland training was really tough as we ran stairs.  It was 6 flight of stairs and we ran 10 sets.  Not only was it hard but it was outside and it was getting hot and muggy.

Below are some pictures on our evening trip to the Cathedral of Learning (Luckily we didn't have to take the stairs).
The top floor is pretty high

Nice view of the Pitt Campus and Oakland from Pitt's
