The Central Mountain girls had a spectacular meet, showing off their strength, however fell short of a win. The Medley Relay consisting of Salmon, Worden, Shultz, Williams earned the Wildcats some points by placing second, followed by Caitlyn Probst who placed first in her 200 Freestyle. Impressive swims in the 500 Freestyle as senior Rachel Sackett placed first while teammate Hannah Worden earned a third place spot.
"The way the meet started I thought we were going to get the boys," Matheny said. “We were pretty much matched up head-to-head against them.” “ It all came down to the last relay.” “As a coach I was very pleased with my swimmers for their hard work throughout the meet, taking the places that they needed and even swimming events that are not their specialties.”
