Jersey Shore Swimmer Named Female Athlete of the Year

Jersey Shore High School swimmer and softball star, Brooke Koch, was named as the Williamsport Sun-Gazette’s 2010 Female Athlete of the Year. She excelled on land and water as she was recognized not only for her role in softball but her accomplishments in the racing lanes.

The June 27, 2010 Williamsport Sun-Gazette states:
Hardly one-dimensional, Koch also was a standout swimmer, earning all-state honors in the 200 medley and freestyle relays the last two years. Koch also helped those relay teams earn district records. A first-team Heartland Conference all-star, Koch was also part of a district record-breaking 400 free relay team.
