Flashback Friday - The Zoltoski Pentathlon

Several years of blogging have occurred at the Jersey Shore Swim blog with over 700 stories and articles posted.  With that in mind, the Jersey Shore Swim blog will occasionally pull out an occasional favorite or interesting item from the archives to share with readers (plus some interesting old stuff never posted) in a series called Flashback Friday.

This Sunday, the 34th Zoltoski Pentathlon will be held at Lock Haven University's Zimmerli Pool.  You can read a little bit of the history on this particular event here.

Every participant will swim 1 race of each stroke (8 and under-25s, 9/10 and 11/12 50s, 13/14 an 15 and Over 100s), fly, back, breast and free. Then all those times are added up accumulatively and the swimmers are seeded by time to swim an Individual Medley (8 and under and 9/10- 100 IM, all older swimmers 200 IM).  Awards are give to the overall fastest times in each age group for each gender.

• Trophies for 1-3rd
• Medals for 4-6 and
• Ribbons for 6-9th
