Remember When...South Williamsport Used To Have A Summer Swim Team
Below is a newspaper clipping from 30 years ago highlighting swimming performances in a match-up betwen South Williamsport and Jersey Shore on July 1, 1982. Interestingly enough, the pool is still there but apparantly not enought kids to fill out a swim team. You wonder if there might not be enough kids now that Williamsport's Memorial Park pool is closed (either until renovation or forever). Click newspaper clipping to enlarge.
