Central Mountain opened their competitive swimming season yesterday at Lock Haven University's Zimmerli Pool. After 3 weeks of practice and hard work, Central Mountain looked poised and confident, had great swims and really good times, but still came up short. Montoursville had a lot of strong veteran swimmers and they held off the Wildcats. The Girl's were defeated 111 - 59; and the boy's loss was a heartbreaker, 75 - 70.
Making their debuts for Central Mountain was Kate Tolomay swimming the 200 free, 100 free and the 4 x 100 free relay, Danielle Bryan swimming the 100 free, 100 back and the 4 x 100 free relay, Amenish Chavan swimming the 200 medley relay, 100 free, 200 free relay and the 4 x 100 free relay, Eric Lugg swimming the 200 medley relay, 100 free, 100 back and the 4 x 100 free relay, Tyler Sheets swimming the 200 medley relay, 50 free, 200 free relay, 100 breast, Jeffrey Smith swimming the 200 medley relay, 50 free, 4 x100 free relay, Jordan Suter swimming 200 medley relay, 200 free, 100 fly and 200 free relay
